1 Terranze Curtis Sharp appeals from an order denying his motion for post-conviction relief. The issues are whether the circuit court lost competency to proceed by not holding a fact-finding hearing within twenty days of Sharps plea hearing on a contested delinquency petition, and for the alleged ineffectiveness of trial and post-conviction counsel for failing to pursue that issue. We conclude that the States petition to waive jurisdiction of childrens court tolled the twenty-day time limits, thereby rendering the fact-finding hearing timely, and did not deprive the circuit court of competency. Consequently, the related ineffective assistance claims also fail. Therefore, we affirm.
